Duties require a diversity of skills, including the use of tractors and mowers, construction of enclosures, as well as scheduled tasks necessary for the upkeep of grounds and buildings. Additional duties may include small project planning and construction, painting, animal husbandry, enclosure cleaning, and unforeseen tasks. Applicants must be able to work independently as well as cooperatively with a small crew. Job duties include working outside in inclement weather with possible exposure to hot and cold extremes, insects, and other wildlife. Applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs, possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record. Hiring is contingent on applicant having a clean criminal background and driver’s license check. Preference will be given to individuals demonstrating knowledge/experience of tractors and mowers and a diversity of handyman skills. The salary is commensurate with experience and promotion is possible based upon performance.
