Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor to support nursing operations within a healthcare environment in Tulsa. This role is responsible for overseeing staffing, supporting patient placement, serving as a clinical resource, and ensuring quality patient care while maintaining compliance with hospital standards and guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, clinical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage patient care operations in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage staffing levels and adjust staffing needs for current and upcoming shifts
- Evaluate, coach, and support nursing personnel in accordance with hospital policies
- Monitor adherence to attendance and performance standards
- Provide clinical expertise related to patient placement and bed availability
- Coordinate patient transfers and support continuity of care
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, families, and leadership to resolve issues
- Serve as a clinical resource for patient care activities and problem-solving
- Monitor and evaluate standards of nursing care
- Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care as needed
- Assist with development and revision of unit policies and procedures
- Support performance improvement initiatives and educational activities
- Identify staff training needs and assist with implementation of in-service programs
Qualifications
- One to two (1–2) years of related nursing experience required
- Strong leadership and conflict management skills
- Working knowledge of disease management processes and clinical pathways
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment
Education & Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- Valid Oklahoma or multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license required
