Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking a Registered Nurse I for a Cardiac Surgical Stepdown unit in Tulsa. This role is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient-centered care
- Assess, organize, and implement care based on patient age, cultural, and psychosocial factors
- Accurately document patient care and progress using proper medical terminology
- Support discharge planning through patient education and appropriate referrals
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education activities
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and care standards
Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of related nursing experience required
- Working knowledge of disease management processes, clinical pathways, and patient care models
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively in a clinical environment
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation accuracy
Education & Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
- Valid Oklahoma or multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license required
