Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking a Licensed Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care in a clinical setting. This role is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with hospital standards and department policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and deliver respiratory care in both critical and non-critical care settings
  • Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy
  • Operate and monitor mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive)
  • Perform procedures such as suctioning, chest physiotherapy, and bronchoscopy assistance
  • Monitor patient status and adjust care based on clinical response
  • Accurately document patient care and verify physician orders
  • Respond to emergency situations including code blues and rapid response calls
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
  • Participate in training, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • 0–6 months of related experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry

Education & Licensure

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program
  • Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license or temporary authorization required
  • CRT or RRT credential required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 2 months of hire
