Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking a dependable Meter Reader for an opportunity in the Bartlesville area.
This is an active, outdoor position that requires extensive walking, bending, and stooping throughout the workday. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working outdoors, and able to work independently while completing an assigned route.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- $14/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Read and record meter information accurately
- Travel assigned routes throughout the Dewey area
- Perform extensive walking throughout the workday
- Frequently bend and stoop to access meters
- Maintain accurate records of completed readings
- Follow assigned routes and daily work instructions
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to walk for extended periods
- Ability to frequently bend and stoop
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Strong attention to detail
