Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking a Contract and Data Analyst (Managed Care) to support a healthcare organization in Tulsa. This role is responsible for analyzing payer contracts, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring financial performance and compliance across managed care agreements.
This position plays a critical role in building financial models, monitoring contract performance, and collaborating across departments to maximize reimbursement and optimize contract outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze payer contracts and communicate operational and financial impacts to stakeholders
- Develop financial models and projections to support contract negotiations and strategy
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with expected reimbursement levels
- Audit financial data and resolve discrepancies, including negotiating with payors when needed
- Review and assist in negotiating contract language
- Develop and maintain datasets and reporting tools for contract analysis
- Support the development and maintenance of internal contract management processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contractual disputes
- Build, test, and maintain contract projection models within Epic
- Analyze and troubleshoot system issues related to reimbursement, rates, and revenue codes
- Partner with IT and Epic teams to implement and optimize system functionality
- Participate in additional projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of related experience in managed care, healthcare finance, or contract analysis
- Experience with health plan contracting and reimbursement for providers and facilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (both business and technical)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and Access
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- High attention to detail when working with complex data
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned modules required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with contract negotiations, financial modeling, and contract language interpretation
- Experience with data warehouse applications and Epic systems
