Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking a Contract and Data Analyst (Managed Care) to support a healthcare organization in Tulsa. This role is responsible for analyzing payer contracts, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring financial performance and compliance across managed care agreements.

This position plays a critical role in building financial models, monitoring contract performance, and collaborating across departments to maximize reimbursement and optimize contract outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze payer contracts and communicate operational and financial impacts to stakeholders
  • Develop financial models and projections to support contract negotiations and strategy
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with expected reimbursement levels
  • Audit financial data and resolve discrepancies, including negotiating with payors when needed
  • Review and assist in negotiating contract language
  • Develop and maintain datasets and reporting tools for contract analysis
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal contract management processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve contractual disputes
  • Build, test, and maintain contract projection models within Epic
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues related to reimbursement, rates, and revenue codes
  • Partner with IT and Epic teams to implement and optimize system functionality
  • Participate in additional projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of related experience in managed care, healthcare finance, or contract analysis
  • Experience with health plan contracting and reimbursement for providers and facilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (both business and technical)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power BI, and Access
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • High attention to detail when working with complex data

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned modules required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with contract negotiations, financial modeling, and contract language interpretation
  • Experience with data warehouse applications and Epic systems
