Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant in the Bartlesville area. This role is ideal for someone who is willing to learn and grow within a healthcare environment.
Previous medical experience is preferred, but the office is willing to train the right candidate.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional later evenings during cold and flu season
- Starting pay: $14/hour (may pay more based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and take vital signs
- Assist with immunizations (training provided if willing to learn)
- Assist with patient care procedures, including swabbing for flu and strep testing
- Support physician with minor procedures as needed
- Answer patient questions and assist with communication
- Prepare lab slips and referrals
- Maintain clean and organized patient areas
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and be trained on clinical duties
- Comfortable handling blood, body fluids, and medical procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable with strong attention to detail
- Previous medical office experience preferred but not required
- Certification not required
