Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking a dependable Kennel Caretaker to assist with daily animal care and facility upkeep. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Schedule & Pay
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30/6:00 PM
- One half-day during the week
- Every other Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Starting pay: $12/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain kennels, floors, and facility areas
- Feed and provide fresh water to animals
- Administer medications as directed
- Bathe and walk animals
- Clean cages, food dishes, and equipment
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for animals
Qualifications
- Comfortable working with animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Dependable with strong work ethic
- Ability to perform physical tasks including cleaning and lifting
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
