From $18 hourly.

Schedule is 8-5 M,T,TH,F and 7-3 Wednesdays, but may require occasional flexibility.

Responsibilities
Act as an effective liaison between patients, surgeons, primary care physicians, and surgical facilities throughout the pre-operative process
Collect and organize all required surgical documentation Schedule all patient surgeries and pre-operative appointments,
including those with primary care physicians, surgical facilities, ophthalmologists, or technicians
Schedule post-operative appointments as required. Arrange patient transportation when necessary.
Notify patients of all scheduled appointments in a timely manner.
Prepare surgery folders and post-operative kits.
Send required H&P forms, laboratory requests, EKGs, and radiology orders to primary care physicians.
Answer telephone inquiries from patients, family members, and primary care physicians regarding surgeries and related concerns.
Contact patients two days prior to surgery to confirm arrival time,
Answer questions, and review medication instructions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Demonstrated computer literacy.
Ability to meet patient surgical scheduling volumes as established by the Clinic Administrator
