Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking experienced Registered Nurses – Critical Care Float Pool for direct-hire opportunities in the Tulsa area.
These positions provide nursing care across critical care areas, assessing patient needs, implementing individualized care plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Candidates must have current or recent ICU or ER experience to be considered.
Schedule
- Night Shift | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- 3 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
- Schedule may vary
- Direct-hire opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Provide care based on individual patient needs
- Monitor patient status and progress toward established goals
- Accurately document nursing care and patient information
- Coordinate appropriate patient education, referrals, and discharge needs
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Organize and prioritize care in a critical care environment
- Support departmental quality improvement and educational initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing experience required
- Current or recent ICU or ER experience required
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Valid Oklahoma or multistate Registered Nurse license
- Strong knowledge of disease management processes and clinical pathways
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
- Ability to exercise independent clinical judgment and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
