Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Supervisor for a direct-hire opportunity in Tulsa. This position provides clinical leadership within a Cardiac Surgical Step Down unit, overseeing staffing, patient placement, nursing personnel, and quality patient care.
The Clinical Supervisor serves as a resource for nursing staff while helping coordinate patient flow, resolve clinical issues, and maintain established standards of care.
Schedule
- Night Shift | 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- 3 12-hour shifts
- Premium weekend schedule: Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday
- Direct-hire opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate staffing and patient placement
- Supervise, coach, and support nursing personnel
- Assist with patient transfers and continuity of care
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff
- Monitor and evaluate nursing standards and patient care
- Provide direct patient care when needed
- Support staff education and performance improvement initiatives
- Communicate with patients, families, staff, and leadership
- Conduct performance evaluations and assist with personnel development
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Surgical Step Down experience required
- Strong nursing leadership and clinical judgment
- Effective conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Valid Oklahoma or multistate RN license
