Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking a dependable Part-Time Kennel Technician for an opportunity in the Bartlesville area. This is a hands-on position caring for animals while helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized kennel environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working with animals, and willing to stay active throughout the shift.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- Every fourth weekend
- Some holiday weekend availability may be required
- Additional scheduling needs may vary based on staffing
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel
- Assist with animal intakes and departures
- Feed and provide water according to established schedules
- Clean and sanitize kennels, equipment, and common areas
- Monitor animals and report health or behavioral concerns
- Assist with general kennel organization and upkeep
- Safely handle animals according to established procedures
- Support other kennel duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous animal care, kennel, veterinary, or related experience preferred
- Comfortable working directly with animals
- Dependable and able to maintain the required schedule
- Availability to work every fourth weekend and some holiday weekends
- Ability to perform physically active work, including standing, walking, bending, and cleaning
- Strong attention to cleanliness and animal safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
