Position Summary
Career Employment Service is seeking an Early Learning Assistant Teacher for an opportunity in the Bartlesville area. This position works with children ages 6 weeks to 4 years, helping provide high-quality educational experiences in a safe, calm, nurturing, and playful environment.
The Assistant Teacher will support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children while building positive relationships with children, families, students, and fellow team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Help plan and provide age-appropriate educational experiences
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
- Support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Build positive relationships with children and their families
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and team members
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Model strong leadership and professionalism
Qualifications & Requirements
- CDA or willingness to work toward a CDA
- Higher-level credentials, such as a Certificate of Mastery or Associate’s Degree, are also accepted
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Oklahoma Registry enrollment required
- Must meet applicable background check and fingerprinting requirements
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Caring and professional approach to working with young children
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
