Pay rate: $18/hr. Hours: 5:00AM – 3:30PM
Requires safety sensitive hair follicle drug screening that includes THC, requires high school education verification and 10 year criminal check. This position is contract through November 2024 (could be extended, but no guarantee). You’ll be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling components and equipment used in oilfield operations. You’ll ensure the quality and reliability of manufactured products while adhering to safety standards and production deadlines.
- Assemble components and equipment according to plans and technical specifications. Use manual and power tools to perform assembly operations with precision.
- Verify the conformity of parts and assemblies with established specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address assembly issues and propose improvements.
- Follow safety procedures and work protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency. Participate in training new employees and in the continuous improvement of assembly processes. Skills
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the oilfield or manufacturing sector.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and assembly diagrams. Proficiency in using manual and power tools for assembly.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure assembly quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly and effectively. Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to safe work practices. Flexibility to adapt to changes in priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.
